KKMP advises Sistema on its acquisition of a stake in Melon Fashion Group
A team of KKMP lawyers including Managing Partner Alyona Kucher, Partner Anna Maximenko, Senior Associate Elena Klyuchareva and Associate Andrey Lipin has advised Sistema, a public Russian investment company, on its RUB 15.8 billion acquisition of a 47.7% stake in Melon Fashion Group, Russia's leading fashion manufacturer and retailer, from the Swedish companies Eastnine and East Capital Holding AB and a group of private investors.

Sistema is financing the acquisition using its own funds and borrowed funds. The transaction is expected to close by the end of 2022 once all necessary regulatory approvals have been obtained and other conditions precedent have been fulfilled.
