KKMP Announces the Appointment of New Counsels
KKMP is pleased to announce the promotion of senior associates Andrey Lipin, Valerian Mamageishvili, Alexey Chernyshev, and Ekaterina Sharapova to the position of Counsel.

Andrey Lipin specializes in corporate transactions, particularly mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, and corporate restructurings. He also has extensive experience in finance transactions, capital markets, and regulatory matters. Among Andrey's recent notable transactions are: representing Sber Group in the acquisition of a 41.9% stake in PJSC Element, and advising on the acquisition of a controlling stake in AO PROGRESS, a manufacturer of well-known brands such as "FrutoNyanya" and "Lipetsky Buyet".

Valerian Mamageishvili holds a PhD in Law and is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law at the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE), where he also teaches practical courses. He is the author of numerous publications and maintains a personal blog for those interested in M&A transactions and corporate law. Valerian has accumulated significant experience advising on M&A transactions and structuring joint ventures under both Russian and English law.

Alexey Chernyshev specializes in dispute resolution, representing clients in complex international and Russian litigation. Alexey's significant cases include defending a major investment holding in a dispute before the High Court of London, representing a Russian bank in the bankruptcy of a large Czech metallurgical enterprise, and acting for PJSC SK Rossgostrakh in a claim for insurance indemnity, as well as representing AO Credit Swiss Bank (Moscow) in a series of Russian court disputes. Alexey also teaches a course on corporate disputes for Master's students at the HSE Faculty of Law.

Ekaterina Sharapova specializes in advising on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), including transactions involving asset portfolios, general corporate matters, commercial contracts, and various aspects of intellectual property protection and pharmaceutical sector regulation. Among Ekaterina's recent transactions is representing Sber Group in the acquisition of a 41.9% stake in PJSC Element.
