KKMP Sponsors the III International Student Arbitration Competition of Moscow State University
The competition is organized by the Law School of Moscow State University and the Arbitration Institution of the Non-Commercial Organization SoyuzMash of Russia and is held annually. Following participation in the competition, teams and coaches are awarded monetary and other prizes from sponsors and also become eligible for internships in partner organizations of the competition.

Following the results of the external stage, 12 top teams from across Russia were selected (half of the teams represented regional universities) that participated in the in-person rounds. The in-person rounds of the competition took place on March 14-15.

The final round of the competition was held in the building of the Law School of Moscow State University between the teams of HSE University and Moscow State University. The competition was won by the students of HSE University. The participants demonstrated a high level of oratory and public speaking skills when they resolved complex issues of the case, including problems of procedural, corporate, and contractual law.

KKMP Senior Associate Valerian Mamageishvili, Senior Associate Alexandra Dmitrieva, Associate Victoria Bigarova, Associate Anna Titova, and Associate Kirill Palushin participated as arbitrators. Alexandra Dmitrieva and Valerian Mamageishvili served as arbitrators in the semi-final rounds and were recognized among the best arbitrators of the competition.

 

KKMP provided partner financial support to the competition and awarded the winners with valuable prizes. Some speakers were invited to participate in the internship selection process.

We were pleased to sponsor the moot court, which provides students with a unique opportunity to apply their knowledge in practice, improve professional skills in resolving civil disputes, and deepen their understanding of the specifics of arbitration.
