KKMP Enters into Cooperation Agreement with Fangda Partners
Russian-Chinese relations are actively developing, marked by increasing trade volumes and large-scale joint projects in energy, logistics, and the digital economy. This trend naturally creates a growing need for high-quality legal support at all stages of cooperation.

To meet this demand, KKMP’s Moscow office launched China Desk over a year ago, led by Chuck Peng, a senior associate qualified in Chinese law. This strategic initiative has already yielded results—according to Pravo.ru comprehensive study of the Russian legal market in China, KKMP ranked 1st in "Corporate Law/M&A", confirming its expertise and market relevance.

Strengthening its global presence is one of KKMP key strategic priorities, including collaboration with local law firms in major jurisdictions.

On April 30, KKMP took another step in implementing this strategy by establishing a partnership with the leading Chinese "Red Circle" law firm Fangda Partners. Founded in 1993, Fangda Partners provides a full range of legal services in Chinese and Hong Kong law, with around 800 lawyers across seven offices in Beijing, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Nanjing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Singapore.

The firm’s expertise and high-quality services are recognized by top international legal rankings such as Chambers & Partners, IFLR 1000, and The Legal 500, where it holds Tier 1/Band 1 positions and has repeatedly been named "Law Firm of the Year."
