Elena Klyuchareva speaks at the ICC Conference on cross-border settlement mechanisms
KKMP Senior Associate Elena Klyuchareva participated in the ICC Russia conference New mechanisms for cross-border settlements, held on November 21. She made a presentation in the session National Digital Currencies (CBDCs) and Other Innovative Instruments for Cross-Border Settlements.

Elena spoke about:

  • The different CBDC models

  • The current implementation status of CBDCs around the world

  • CBDCs in the BRICS countries, and the current stage of their development

  • Pilot schemes for the use of CBDCs in cross-border settlements: mBridge, Aber, Icebreaker
