Bank guarantees: practical solutions, prospects
On March 3, 2026, Chuck Peng, head of KKMP's China practice, will speak at the ICC Russia conference “Bank Guarantees: Practical Solutions, Prospects,” to be held in Moscow.

In particular, Chuck will address the topic “What is a demand guarantee under Chinese law? Should an international guarantee be governed by the ICC Uniform Rules on Demand Guarantees (URDG 758)?

Participants will receive comprehensive information about the instrument and its nature: we will discuss Russian and international practices for working with guarantees, the specifics of applying the instrument in Asian and Latin American countries, as well as arbitration practices for guarantees with an analysis of specific cases.
