Anna Maximenko and Tamara Kulyk on the Jury of the FinLex 2025
On March 13-15, the in-person stage of the II Inter-University Student Competition on Legal Regulation of Financial Markets in the Russian Federation, FinLex 2025, took place. The competition was organized by the Bank of Russia jointly with the International Law Faculty of MGIMO and the MGIMO Law Club, with the support of the MGIMO Endowment Fund.

Teams from leading universities across Russia that had passed the remote qualifying stage participated in various team and individual financial law competitions.

Partner Anna Maximenko served as a member of the jury in the theorists contest, where participants demonstrated their knowledge and reasoning skills during oral presentations. Before that Anna also held a masterclass for competition participants on Digital Financial Assets: A New Instrument in the Financial Market.

Senior Associate Tamara Kulyk acted as a referee during the mock court sessions, in which teams presented legal positions on their cases.

FinLex is the first inter-university competition dedicated to the regulation of financial markets in the Russian Federation.

We were happy to participate in the event, which helps the younger generation of lawyers dive into their area of interest and promotes their professional growth. We thank the organizers for this opportunity and congratulate the winners!
