AEB Committee Meeting: Insurance and Pensions
Yesterday, the Association of European Businesses Insurance and Pensions Committee held a meeting at KKMP office. KKMP Partner Anna Maximenko and Counsel Roman Sadovsky spoke on various aspects of regulation and circulation of digital financial assets (DFAs). 

The discussion focused on issues relevant to insurers, specifically, infrastructure risks and legal risks associated with the circulation of DFAs, distribution of such risks among the participants of DFA turnover, insurance products that could be used to protect the interests of various participants of DFA turnover and possible approaches to structuring of insurance coverage.

Anna and Roman together with their colleagues discussed a recent DFA issue that was used by an insurer as an instrument to hedge its potential losses under a spacecraft launch insurance contract.
