On October 25 ICC Russia will hold a conference on Insurance Disputes from International Contracts

Discussion topics will include:

  • the market reaction to changed "single reinsurer" conditions: who determines the applicable rules, and how?

  • war or terrorist acts - how do Russian insurers qualify recent events and what conditions should be included in the insurance policy to cover such risks?

  • discriminatory terms often included in property insurance contracts, which policyholders should avoid;

  • invalidity of contracts and refusal to pay on claims: traditional approaches and new trends;

  • the claims settlement procedure: what issues to focus on first.
