Valerian Mamageishvili
Senior associate
Valerian Mamageishvili focuses his practice on corporate law. In particular, he has extensive experience in M&A transactions and structuring joint ventures under Russian and English law. Pravo-300 (2024) recognizes him as one of the leading lawyers in Russia in the field of corporate law/M&A and natural resources/energy.
Prior to joining KKMP, Valerian worked at leading international and Russian law firms.
Valerian obtained a Bachelor's degree with honors (2015) and a Master's degree with honors ("Corporate Law", 2017) from the Moscow State University Law School. In 2014, he studied at the Faculty of Law of the University of Helsinki under the ERASMUS program.
In 2021, Valerian defended his PhD thesis at the Moscow State University on the topic "Representation of interests of business corporations". Previously, he taught private law courses at the Law Faculty of the All-Russian Academy of Foreign Trade, as well as at the Law School and the Higher School of Public Audit at the Moscow State University. Since 2022, Valerian has been an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law of the National Research University Higher School of Economics.
Valerian is fluent in English and Georgian.
