Financial institutions, fintech

FinTech refers to the use of modern technologies — such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, automation, blockchain, cloud computing, and biometrics — to provide financial services. Today, technology has become the foundation for most financial operations, ranging from routine payments and loans to insurance and investments.  The Russian FinTech market is one of the most dynamically developing and technologically advanced sectors of the Russian economy.  Despite geopolitical challenges and sanctions pressure, the market has not only adapted but also demonstrates a high degree of digitalization, often outpacing many Western countries in the speed of user service implementation. The key market players are banking groups, technology platforms, and payment systems.  Like any project in the digital technology sector, FinTech projects are always unique, and their legal support requires, above all, an understanding of the technology being implemented, knowledge of global best practices, and a comprehensive analysis of applicable regulations — including regulatory requirements, data protection and processing, intellectual property, and cybersecurity.
