Industrial Sector

The industrial sector is a traditional driver of the Russian economy, supporting related industries and export potential. Machinery manufacturing, a foundational industry, encompasses the production of equipment, vehicles, machine tools, components, and high-tech solutions for diverse sectors – from energy and mining to agriculture.

Current projects often focus on production localization, modernization of manufacturing facilities, implementation of automation and digital modeling technologies, and the development of new logistics and distribution channels in response to the evolving geopolitical landscape. Key priorities include import substitution, adaptation to new standards, intellectual property protection, and optimization of contractual arrangements with both international and domestic partners.

Government support programs – such as Special Investment Contracts (SPIC 2.0) and Agreements on Protection and Promotion of Capital Investment (APPC) – play a significant role in industrial development, offering participating projects tax, customs, and regulatory benefits. However, maximizing the benefits of these programs requires expert legal counsel throughout the process, from selecting the appropriate support mechanism to ensuring its successful implementation. We provide comprehensive legal support to help clients navigate these opportunities effectively.
