On April 26, Moscow hosted the annual The Experts forum, dedicated to corporate finance and consulting. The event brought together more than 150 leading industry experts to discuss macroeconomic trends and new market challenges.
Valerian Mamageishvili and Dmitry Raev, advisors to KKMP, took part in one of the forum’s key discussions, titled “Structuring Various Types of Transactions in the Russian Federation in Today’s Reality.” Other participants in the discussion included:

The panel discussed current factors affecting the M&A market and the most sought-after transaction structuring tools. Given the diverse backgrounds of each speaker (investment bankers and legal advisors, strategic and financial buyers), the discussion revealed various approaches and perspectives on common challenges. Special attention was given to ways of bridging the valuation gap between buyers and sellers in M&A transactions.
