On September 8, 2026, the ICC Russia Construction Summit will take place—a key industry event that will bring together leading market players to discuss current international and Russian issues.
This year, the summit’s program will draw on trends from the world’s largest industry events—the ICC-FIDIC Conference in Bogotá and the FIDIC ICUC in London—with the aim of discussing the effective application of international standards and tools in the current Russian context.
The summit will be opened by Mikhail Nikolaevich Yurin, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
In the forum’s first session, dedicated to the implementation of projects of federal significance, Roman Sadovsky, an counsel at KKMP, will deliver a presentation on “Insurance for Investment Projects.”
The ICC Russia Construction Summit has traditionally established itself as an authoritative platform for dialogue among the government, developers, investors, banks, and the legal community. Participants can expect exclusively practical solutions: experts will analyze how to restructure contract management in volatile conditions and effectively protect businesses in unfamiliar jurisdictions.
Other topics for discussion include:
- the contract as a risk management tool: contract management, adaptation of FIDIC, and contentious contractual terms;
- dispute resolution: claim management, construction arbitration, mediation, and DAAB;
- ICC tools for construction—from Incoterms® and URDG 758 to arbitration;
- international cooperation and the “Pivot to the East”;
- digitalization, BIM, and AI;
- sustainable development and “green” construction.
