On August 18, 2026, Roman Sadovsky, a Counsel at the KKMP, spoke at the seminar “Specifics of Insurance in the Banking Sector” as part of the professional retraining program offered by the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization for Continuing Professional Education “Higher School of Insurance,” titled “Head of the Department Responsible for Insurance Coverage in a Company.”
During the seminar, Roman discussed specialized insurance products for banks, such as Comprehensive Banking Insurance (BBB, ECC, FIPI), the coverage provided under these policies, existing limitations and “gaps” in coverage, and shared current statistics on this insurance product.
Roman also spoke about directors’ and officers’ liability insurance (D&O), examined the specifics of this type of insurance for banks and their members of management bodies, shared up-to-date analysis from the KKMP on current judicial practice regarding holding members of management bodies liable for losses caused to the company, and analyzed a number of landmark court decisions on holding members of bank management bodies liable for losses caused to banks, including through subsidiary liability.
