The Future of Legal Business in Russia. Projections and Challenges of the Mid-20th  - Изображение

On December 4, Sergey Polyanin, IT Director of KKMP, spoke at the 18th Annual Law Firm Management Conference «The Future of Legal Business in Russia. Design and Challenges of the Mid-20s».

As part of the session «Technologies in the Legal Business», Sergey considered the issues of import substitution in the sphere of legal technologies, the risks of hallucinating artificial intelligence systems, as well as issues of ensuring confidentiality and security when implementing new technological solutions.

During the four sessions of the conference, experts discussed key challenges and prospects for the development of the Russian legal business. The participants, including representatives of the Ministry of Justice, FPA RF, leading law firms and in-house lawyers, touched upon the issues of legal profession reform, legal representation, as well as topical issues of law firm management in the context of change, including generational succession and partnership relations.

Special attention was paid to the issues of financial stability of law firms, pricing policy, anti-dumping and client relations. In addition, the conference participants discussed the impact of technological innovations, in particular artificial intelligence, on legal practice and the need for internal transformation to effectively implement new technologies.

The conference became a platform for sharing experience and developing recommendations on how legal businesses can adapt to changing market conditions and client needs, as well as how to use modern technologies to improve efficiency and competitiveness.
