On September 22, 2026, we will welcome Yolanda Jia and Jingjing Chen, partners at Heiwen & Partners—one of China’s leading law firms—to our office.

Both colleagues have extensive experience advising on cross-border transactions and disputes in the field of intellectual property, representing the interests of international corporations.

Given the growing number of inquiries we receive regarding transactions with Chinese counterparties involving intellectual property and disputes involving Chinese counterparties, we have asked Yolanda Jia and Jingjing Chen to lead a seminar on the specifics of Chinese regulations as they apply to transactions involving software and artificial intelligence technologies.

We invite you to join our seminar, either online or in person, on September 22 at 3:00 p.m. at OKO Tower, 21 1st Krasnogvardeisky Proezd, Building 1, 41st Floor.

During the seminar, we will discuss:

  1. Key issues when entering into a license agreement for software and artificial intelligence technologies with a Chinese counterparty, including structuring considerations.

  2. Due diligence on Chinese suppliers of software and artificial intelligence technologies and risk management.

  3. Export controls regarding software and artificial intelligence technologies, including the necessary permits and approvals.

  4. Special requirements under Chinese law in the field of artificial intelligence technologies.

The working language of the seminar is English. No translation into Russian will be provided.

If you have any questions you would like to include on the seminar agenda, please send them to events@kkmp.legal. Our colleagues at Haiwen & Partners have provided us with information about their practice, which we have attached for your review.

We look forward to your participation!

Participation in the event is free of charge upon prior registration. Space is limited. Please note that the event is closed to legal consultants and private practice attorneys.
