On March 27, 2026, Sergey Polyanyin, IT Director at KKMP.Tech, spoke at the “Hot Law” discussion club on the topic “The Legal Profession in the Age of AI and LegalTech.”

The following topics, in particular, were raised during the meeting:

  • A discussion of current trends in the legal technology (LegalTech) market;

  • A discussion on the future of the legal profession in the age of artificial intelligence.

Sergey Polyanyin spoke about the LegalTech and AI solutions already in use at KKMP: FileHunter, FileMaster, and corporate AI for document management. He specifically highlighted how these tools help create a more efficient, manageable, and secure data workflow, and outlined directions for their further development.

In addition, Sergey discussed how AI solutions have already evolved and emphasized the importance of paying close attention to information security issues. He also noted how AI is changing the way employees work and shared his experience with vibecoding.

In conclusion, Sergey noted that AI will not replace lawyers but will enhance their work by changing the economics of legal work and the requirements for specialists, and that corporate AI will eventually become the norm. He emphasized that those who are quickest to integrate LegalTech and AI solutions into their processes and secure environment will come out ahead.
