Large companies expanding their production often act as construction customers, implementing projects themselves. However, if they lack qualified specialists, the necessary SRO permits or experience, they engage a technical customer (technical customer). This professional consultant represents the developer's interests at all stages of construction, including contracting with contractors, coordinating design documentation, accepting work and obtaining permits. Courts often consider the relationship between the developer and the technical customer as an agency contract or a mixed contract (agency and services). Liability of the technical customer is governed by both the general provisions of the Civil Code and the norms of the Town Planning Code.
